What you mean to me

Nicky,
Two and a half years ago, my heart was broken. I hurt so bad it seemed my heart would just stop beating. If it had, I would've welcomed it.
God didn't let my heart stop beating.
Now that I'm with you, I thank God for forcing me to go on. He used you to heal my heart. Thank you.

APRIL FOOL!

Nicky calls me while I'm driving to work."Guess what I got in the mail honey--a check from Sears!"
She asks me to guess how much the check is. I remember Sears promised us a check for damaging our sliding door. I guess, "$150 bucks?"
Nicole laughs, "No higher".
I guess again, "$250 bucks?"
Nicole chuckles, and brags, "$3000 dollars!"
I whoop with pleasure and surprise.
Nicky then springs "APRIL FOOL!"
Ugh, she got me good.

Some thoughts as we celebrate commitment, love and romance this weekend.
You love to shower me with things I enjoy. I have novels and gadgets from you. You call them tokens of your love.
You bless me with wonderful full course meals made from scratch. You buy me delicacies as well.
Often, you'll give me the last of your favorite dessert.
I owe you for whatever style of fashion I show when we go out. You dress me well.

You know what really shows me how much you love me? The way you faithfully lay hands and bless me daily. I love the TLC you provide when I'm sick. I appreciate the way you care for six kids.
